Chills, chills, chills! This song has always had an interesting sound to me and has been tapping me on the shoulder for a while, but with John’s version, it fully caught my attention and sunk in - no words needed. He just has this way of communicating with the soul (well, mine anyway) through his playing. I can’t say that I have come across many artists that have the ability to speak to me on that level…there’s been a handful, at most. And his renditions of the songs he covers are beyond amazing! He makes them his own without effort, which isn’t always an easy thing to do. This is another that he can add to his long list. Just one of the many many things I love about him. Kudos, Mr. Mayer!

SO VERY EXCITED FOR THIS!! His work is ever evolving. With every passing stage (album) you can tell he has grown so much, both in life and in music, and I’m really looking forward to seeing/hearing this next stage. Such an amazing musician and person. Come on May 22nd!!! :)
Thank you, Carl, for posting this! As a mother of a child that has been a victim of bullying, I feel for all children and their families who have fallen victim, as well. We will most definitely go out and support this film. I pray everyone else will do the same.
